Interior Design

For all interior design projects, we schedule a one-hour initial consultation to introduce ourselves as well as get to know you, see your space, and discuss the project scope. This initial meeting allows us to really listen to our client’s needs and hear their “wish list.” How do you want the space to function and what is the aesthetical vision? Timing and budget are also discussed at this time to ensure we are working within your expectations. These initial discussions enable the NGI Design Team to analyze how we can achieve your goals.

The design process is the next step in achieving your vision and ideals. Existing field conditions are verified and we begin the creative process – exploring space, color, texture, lighting, and furnishings to create a memorable interior design and experience. We will assist you with budgets, timelines, selections of materials and products, and installation, all on an as-needed basis. Detailed documents are generated to provide clients and contractors with plans and instructions as to how the design is to be achieved. This can include plans, elevations, sketches, specifications, and details that are required to successfully communicate and implement the desired design.

During the construction process, we will be there to ensure that the process is smooth and hassle-free. Site visits will be made to verify implementation of critical design components and that the procurement of materials is coordinated with any subcontractor schedules. Lastly, NGI handles the installation of all furniture, art, window coverings, and accessories to complete the design. As you use your new space, our collaboration continues. NGI Design strives to work as a constant partner with you to ensure that your interior environment continues to grow with you for years to come.
